Our client is one of the UK’s leading technology companies, providing industry leading SaaS solutions focused on achieving greater automation, productivity and efficiency for their SME and Mid-Market clients.

New business opportunities will come from referred leads, targeting of existing accounts, and self-generated prospecting, and the successful applicant will also assume responsibility for:

  • Create and deliver a business development plan focused on achieving the greatest acquisition for licenced software sales and annual recurring revenue
  • Research, consult, scope, and advise on how to improve the clients’ business process automation environment
  • Deliver compelling solutions presentations, product demonstrations, pricing proposals, and successfully manage the entire sales process to a close
  • Provide timely accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reports to the Sales Director
  • Maintain an accurate record of client activity by effectively updating the company CRM
  • Schedule attendance at relevant networking events and industry conferences

Candidates will likely possess the following skills, experience, and personal attributes:

  • Experience gained selling SaaS software solutions to SME and Mid-Market clients
  • Highly experienced in delivering against business development plans and roadmaps
  • A consultative approach and ability to pinpoint high performance, efficiency, and cost-saving gains for each client
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to create and effectively deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to a wide range of clients and stakeholders
  • Strong commercial understanding with accomplished decision-making and negotiation skills
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and focused approach with a strong determination for success
